Equipment Loans         of the Keweenaw is a durable medical equipment loaner closet serving children in Houghton, Keweenaw, and Baraga counties. We maintain an inventory of wheelchairs, gait trainers    and positioning equipment to help maximize the independence and health of our community members.

We also provide adaptive recreational and sports equipment for loan to those of any age,  in any county of the Upper Peninsula.  We strive to create and promote activities that allow our fellow Yoopers to enjoy all that our beautiful U.P. has to offer.  

 

Our equipment loans are FREE to qualified users.  Before requesting equipment, please consult with your physician, physical or occupational therapist.  They will help choose the right piece for you .

Much of the equipment in our loaner closet is donated from others who no longer have need of it.  If you would like to donate equipment, please let us know.  Your donation could be crucial to helping another family!
